Recruiting and retaining strong teachers and faculty can make or break a CTE program. Yet the nationwide teacher shortage has hit CTE particularly hard. How can state leaders strengthen the pipeline of CTE educators, including from non-traditional pathways, and ensure they are prepared to lead the classroom on day one? In this session participants will learn about strategies in Perkins V to strengthen the CTE teacher pipeline and hear about effective practices in a leading state.
